The Civil Contractors New Zealand Hirepool Construction Excellence Awards will be presented on 1 September as part of this year’s CCNZ National Conference

CCNZ Chief Executive Alan Pollard congratulates the finalists on the work they have done to connect communities and construct the country’s vital infrastructure.

“It’s inspiring to see the difference the country’s civil contractors make through their work, whether constructing roads, ports, airstrips, rail lines or water networks. This is important work that requires dedication, skill and capability. All the finalists should be hugely proud of what their efforts have made possible for the country, and for their communities.”

Founded in 1978, the CCNZ Hirepool Construction Excellence Awards represent the pinnacle achievements of New Zealand’s civil construction industry. Winners are awarded the Toki Paraihe for their work each year at the Hirepool Construction Excellence Awards Dinner, which are held during CCNZ National Conference.

Expert judges tour projects nominated for the awards each year to assess their performance, as well as reviewing comprehensive information provided by entrants. This year, 32 finalists have been announced from more than 50 entries.
